The President and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide Apostle Johnson Suleman has spoken against a report published by blogs and few national dailies which suggested he had predicted his death.
The report came in the wake of the tragic death of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet TB Joshua who died at the age of 57 in Lagos.The preacher had earlier used the hashtags #MyTimeHasCome in his tweets which has generated a lot of controversy and buzz around the social media space with many saying the preacher was regarding to his death.However, the cleric, on Tuesday, explained that the hashtag was not to say he was dying soon, but a “confession as believers.”
He wrote on his Twitter page "#Mytimehascome is our confession as believers according to psalms 102.13. Discard those Insinuations that it means anything else. "I have not even started my assignment.So I reject any negative insinuations in Jesus Name,” he tweeted.
In another tweet, he addressed the publication which was spearheaded by leading Nigeria Newspaper, Vanguard saying it should have contacted him for clarification before making their validation and conclusions.He wrote
“Vanguard, you should at least had reached me. Stop blowing things out of proportion.“I have no business with death in Jesus name. What concerns okada man with seatbelt?” Suleman asked.
The 50 year old Edo preacher is one of the most voracious and outspoken man of God in Nigeria and was named among the most controversial preachers in the country.
