FAYEMI, PASTOR OLUKOYA, OTHER DIGNITARIES REACT TO THE DEATH OF PASTOR DARE ADEBOYE

The death of the third son of renowned Nigerian preacher and General Overseer of the largest church in Africa, Pastor EA Adeboye, Pastor Dare broke in the internet yesterday morning with several people reacting to the tragic news on social media.

Several dignitaries around the world has reacted to this news haven been confirmed by the church and his siblings yesterday.

 


The Founder of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Pastor Dr. Daniel Olukoya has reacted to the death of Pastor Dare Adeboye on Thursday. In a statement signed by him and his wife, Pastor Shade, he urged Adeboye and the RCCG family to find comfort in the teachings of the Scripture that “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints”.

He further said “We received the news of the passing away of Pastor Dare Adeboye with great shock and disbelief. He was an embodiment of inexhaustible tenderness and of rare grace and charm.”

“A great lover of Christ our Lord and Saviour. May the Holy Spirit console and comfort you and the family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and prayers.”

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, described the death as an unfortunate development that has inflicted a wound in the hearts of family members in particular, the Christian community, all lovers of Adeboye and Nigerians in their millions.

The Governor in a condolence message spoke about Pastor Dare as a vibrant young man and committed minister who trod the righteous path being trodden by his parents. The Governor further urged Pastor Adeboye and his wife to remain strong in faith in the trying time and rely on God who assuages grief. “Our heartfelt condolences to Baba and Mama Adeboye, and the entire members of the RCCG worldwide. May the Lord heal the wound and uphold them.

We urge them to be consoled by the fact that their departed son made an impact in his short years of existence and is resting in the blossom of the Lord. “May God grant the entire Adeboye family, RCCG congregation the fortitude and equanimity to bear the irreparable loss”. The governor added.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation minister, in his own reaction expressed sadness over the sudden demise of Dare Adeboye. Chief Femi Fani-Kayode prays that God stand with the Adeboyes and the RCCG family “at this difficult time”. He wrote, “My heart goes out to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the RCCG & his family for the tragic loss of his son Pastor Dare Adeboye.”

“May the Lord strengthen you & be with you at this difficult time & may Dare’s soul rest in peace. To live is Christ, to die is gain!” He added.

The RCCG had since urged its members to be strong and courageous while maintaining faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor Dare died in his sleep in Akwa Ibom where he was based with his family.
