A very interesting quote reads: "Be yourself; others are already taken!" Indeed,you can only be you; you cannot be another, no matter how hard you try. You may be able to mimic or impersonate someone else but only for a while; afterwards you must inexorably revert to your normal self.
Some, like Jacob, may have successfully obtained undue advantage by false pretense, yet until they fiX their error, they cannot avoid a guilty conscience and truly excel. Until you sincerely acknowledge your depravity of heart. you cannot receive grace for salvation. Until Jacob properly identified himself, he could not prevail. Your success, both in life and in eternity, depends on this simple truth.
Challenge: Tell the LORD exactly who you are and He will fix you.
