_It is advisable that you prayerfully and meditatively read the text first_  *TOOTHLESS BULLDOG* *TEXT:* REVELATION 20:1-15._*KEY VERSE* "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years" (REVELATION 20:1,2)._  Prof. Carl Armerding once wrote a story about his experience at the zoo. "As I stood there," he said, "an attendant entered the cage of a wildcat through a door on the opposite side. He had nothing in his hands but a broom. Carefully closing the door, he proceeded to sweep the floor of the cage." He observed that the worker had no weapon to ward off an attack by the beast. In fact, when he got to the corner of the cage where the wildcat was lying, he poked the animal with the broom. The wildcat hissed at him and then lay down in another corner of the enclosure. Armerding said to the attendant, "You certainly are a brave man." "No, I ain't brave," he replied as he continued to sweep. "Well, then, that cat must be tame." "No," came the reply, "he ain't tame." "lf you aren't brave and the wildcat isn't tame, then I can't understand why he doesn't attack you." Armerding said. The man chuckled, then replied with an air of confidence, "Mister, he's old and he ain't got no teeth." To the believer, Satan is like the wildcat. Defeated by Christ at Calvary, He lost his fangs! Since Satan fell by rebellion, his activities on earth and in heaven have been restricted. Our passage shows that during the Millennial reign, Satan will be completely bound and he would not be able to influence governance or people. After that, he would be released for a while to lead a rebellion which will end in his eternal banishment to hell. It is important for Christians to know that God has made a "hedge" around us so that we can be safe from every onslaught of Satan. Satan is fallen before you today (Luke 10:18). This truth should make you to go out with confidence, knowing that the grace of God is sufficient for you as you endeavour to make the right choices and honour Him. *THOUGHT FOR THE DAY* Satan is the fallen foe incapable of hindering our work for the Lord.  *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR* ACTS 20-21. *MEDITATION* Thy Kingdom come by power, by power *1. The false revelations*Satan is deception personified. He will want to keep the whole world away from the scriptures that can expose his deceptions so that he will successfully and continually "deceive the nations", v3. a. "Satan is every where (omnipresent)." This is a deception. He could be in only one place at a time, v3. He only uses demons.b. "Satan has all power next to God; he can do and undo". Not true; only one angel bound him and confined him to the bottomless pit, v3.c. "Satan knows everything." Another deception. If he knew the death of Christ on the cross will bring salvation to man he would have endured Christ to die naturally.d. "Nobody can bind Satan". Not true. Every believer with faith in the name of Jesus can bind him.*Q* What are some other deceptions of Satan and Bible passages that said NO!?*Note* Satan still rules human minds through deceptions. Only the knowledge of the truth in the Bible sets free, John 8:32. Get well acquainted with the scriptures.*2. The false resurrection*The first resurrection is the resurrection of all saints in history. It includesa. Rapture of the New Testament saints, which can happen any time, I Thessalon 4:13-18.b. Resurrection of the Old Testament saints. This will happen at the second coming and they will be rewarded (judgement) and given thrones to sit, v4.c. Resurrection of the Tribulation saints who will also be rewarded and reign with Christ during the millennial as kings, v4. d. All those converted during the millennial reign will only be transfigured and given a glorified eternal bodies just like resurrected bodies like that of Elijah and Enoch.d. The two words connecting all those for the first resurrection are "blessed and holy". No unholy person will reign with Christ during the millennial and in eternal heaven, v6.*3. The fearful retribution*a. The physical appearance of Christ during the 1000 years and His blessed reign does not mean those who were born in the millennial will not have adamic sinful nature. They will still be expected to repent and be "born again" but unfortunately many will not- the unfathomable depth of human nature!b. All those unrepentant sinners will have their violent nature activated and be deceived into fighting Christ, vv8,9.*Q*. How could Satan who would be bound for 1000 years successfully deceive the sinners that he could war against the Lord who bind him and still defeat him? Can you see how someone who rejects the truth can easily be manipulated and deceived into believing a lie despite all his education and civilization?d. All sinners, including Satan and his demons, will be damned in hell no matter their status and nationality, vv10-15.*Q* Are you still giving in to the deceptions of Satan or you have fully accepted the truth of Jesus and His word? *Prayer points*Lord, I promise to give myself to the study of your word; continually give me light of the Holy SpiritLord, deliver me from being a victim of satanic deceptionsLord, help me to be among those who will partake of the first resurrectionDear Lord, let the knowledge of your word increase and cover the land so that Satan will not succeed in his deception agendas *HYMN* Are you ready?.
